What is OPT, and does Regis University offer it?
Optional Practical Training (OPT), as defined by the Immigration and Naturalization Service, is training that provides international students with an opportunity to gain actual employment experience in their major fields of study. This type of employment must be authorized both by the Regis International Student Services Department and by U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Services. Training can occur after degree completion.
