What is “Operation Slick Streets”?

0

Operation Slick Streets or Limited Collision Response is a policy of the Broken Arrow Police Department and other local law enforcement agencies that limits police officers from conducting the investigation of non-injury collisions when the policy is in effect. Operation Slick Streets will be implemented by police department administrative personnel during times of inclement weather or when the number of calls for police service exceed the amount of officers who are available to respond. Operation Slick Streets will be implemented to allow officers to respond to high priority calls. You will be informed by a 911 operator when Limited Collision Response is in effect. When this occurs, you will need to exchange information with the other party and complete a City of Broken Arrow Operator’s Collision Report form. These forms can also be obtained at local area Quik Trip stores.
