What is OpenOffice.org Productivity Suite& How do I download & use it?
There are a variety of programs that can be used to view & print PDF patterns for quilters of non-computerized quilting needs. However, we have found that the Drawing program that is included in the FREE software OpenOffice.org Productivity Suite is an excellent way for customers to not only print their patterns that are in PDF formats, but you are also able to resize them to exactly what you need. OpenOffice.org software along with an add-on (plug-in) that will allow it to do PDF Imports is needed to accomplish this. OpenOffice.org Prod. Suite is distributed by Sun Microsystems. The link to download the Productivity Suite is http://www.openoffice.org/index.html. This software must be downloaded first & then the add-on software can be downloaded from http://www.sun.com/software/staroffice/extensions.jsp.
