What is OpenMG?
It is a copyright protection technology of digital contents developed by Sony. This technology can protect copyrighted material when track data is transferred between the unit (or your computer) and an external device such as a portable player or media. The technology can be applied to digital content distribution services, and can control the copyright from the upper stream to the lower stream of the content distribution system.
