Answer OpenOffice.org is an office suite similar to Microsoft Office. OpenOffice.org is NOT fully compatible with MS Office. It is an alternative to MS Office for someone on a very tight budget but is not recommended for serious business use. Some of our early Legacy Series reports were available in an OpenOffice.org version. Open Office does NOT support Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). Most of our reports are written in VBA so they will not run under OpenOffice.org. If you have Microsoft Office, we do not recommend that you install OpenOffice.org because it can cause conflicts.
