What is Open Hearts policy regarding visitation from family members and friends?
Open Hearts’ visitation policy requires that 24 hour notification be given when requesting a visit. Visits are to be concluded by 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and 10:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays. To accommodate special requests for visitation, Open Hearts staff and administration will work with requestors to arrange. • Q: Are residents required to bring their own furniture and accessories? A: Open Hearts provides all bedroom and common areas furniture. Linens and towels used by clients are also provided. If a client chooses to bring his or her own furniture, linen or other personal items, they will be labeled as property of resident and incorporated into Open Hearts surroundings for use. • Q: Can residents have overnight guests? A: Same sex, as resident, overnight guests are allowed after proper notice has been given to and approved by Open Hearts and/or the facility manager.
