What is open cell or cool memory foam?
Open cell or “Cool Foam” was developed by foam manufacturers to improve the air flow of memory foam (visco-electic foam). All memory foam at Sun Mattress is open cell memory foam. Foam manufacturers believe that an open cell memory foam’s improved air flow will help improve the circulation of air in the bed and ensure the bed doesn’t sleep too hot. In addition to using open cell memory foam, we test all of our memory foam to ensure it meets our air flow standards. Why test, we make the best memory foam bed available and will ONLY use the best materials that meet or exceed our rigorous standards.
