What is OPALs approach to multicultural education?
A. OPAL is sponsors, partners with, and leads a variety of experiential learning and dialogue programs that encourage students to discover differences and similarities among people of different backgrounds. These activities include retreats, facilitated dialogue groups, simulations, human relations training, leadership development, tours, video programs, etc. While many of OPAL’s activities are organized to form a curriculum for out-of-classroom learning for the campus, OPAL will also customize programs to fit the needs of an audience.
