What is Online or eLearning?
eLearning is using the Internet for learning. All it requires is an Internet connection and a Web browser, which enable people to learn at any time or place. It is a relatively new and innovative style of learning in which students are not required to attend scheduled classes. It consists of a virtual learning environment on the web. The study material has been specially designed to give you as much guidance as possible because you will not be sitting in a classroom with other students listening to a lecturer. You will however be able to ask each other questions through email and other facilities available on the web. This means that you can study anywhere like your home or an office at any time, and although there may be deadlines to meet, you will be able to study at your own speed. As all the material will be available to you, you will also be able to go through difficult parts of the course a number of times if you did not fully understand them the first time.
