What is Online Education?
Online education is the term used to describe distance learning that takes place when students and instructors are not physically in the same location and classes are offered over the Internet. You have the flexibility to learn on your own schedule. However, you are required to log into your course(s) at least once a week and you are responsible for creating and maintaining your own schedule for reading, studying, completing assignments, and participating in group discussions. The opportunity to develop knowledge while collaborating with other students from around the world is available through online education. In this environment, the instructor functions as a guide and mentor.
