What is OneNASA Email?
OneNASA Email is the consolidation of all NASA civil servant Email Addresses into a single domain (nasa.gov). All Civil servants will have an address of the form: firstname.mi.lastname@nasa.gov (e.g. john.w.smith@nasa.gov). This change does not apply to NASA contractors. Contractor email addresses will continue to reflect their local Center, i.e.: user@center.nasa.gov (for instance jsmith@hq.nasa.gov at Headquarters). The Agency’s OneNASA email initiative is being led by the Johnson Space Flight Center (JSC). Each Civil servant will have an official OneNASA email address assigned in the above format. In some cases, an employee may wish to change his or her assigned address. In this case, the employee will have the ability to login to an application to create an email Alias, which may be used instead.
