WHAT IS ON-DISC PRINTING?

0

The printing process on your CD surface is very similar to that of traditional print work. You can print in spot colors or in full color process. However unlike traditional print work, spot color screen-printing is more common on the disc face than full color process. Our standard packages include up to three colors on the CD surface, but for an extra charge you can have more colors or have a full color disc. If you wish to have your CD face printed in full color, it is recommended that you print a white flood (your 5th color). The reason for needing to print a base white is that full color process printing on the silver disc face will not look the same as printing on the white of paper stock, so if you want your CD face to look as close to the normal full color print work, you will need to start off with a white base.
