What is OMMAs relationship to the local church?
On Mission Martial Arts, Inc. was created to serve the local church. Although we are a separate entity, OMMA locations will always strive to be in partnership with and under the ecclesiastical authority of a local church body and its leaders. OMMA seeks to assist the local body by offering a unique missions-focused, integrated development program that will attract people to a church that may not otherwise come. OMMA understands that it is the rightful place of the Church of Jesus Christ to be the primary teacher of the Word and doctrine and to be responsible for evangelism and discipleship. Our goal is to assist the local church, certainly NOT to try and replace it by any means! Our doctrinal statements and spiritual curriculum are broad enough so as to allow room for individualized expression in the local body.
