LCCC is a member of the OhioLINK consortium of libraries and, therefore, LCCC students, faculty, and staff can request books from other consortium members’ libraries and access databases to search for and retrieve articles. When you request a book through the OhioLINK catalog or choose to search a database provided through OhioLINK from off-campus, you will be prompted to select your institution and provide your name and 14-digit bar code to verify your eligibility to use these services. (Eligible users are LCCC/UP students, faculty and staff who are registered with the LCCC Library who do not have any unpaid fines or overdue material.) Authentication is a two-step process: Step 1: On the Institution Selection Form, click on the list and select Lorain County CC from the list. Step 2: On the OhioLINK Authentication Form, type your name (format Smith Jane) and the 14-digit bar code from the front of your LCCC ID in the fields provided.
