On-campus residents are expected to comply with the alcohol and drug policy of Oglethorpe University stated in the O-Book student handbook. If you are twenty-one, you may drink in the privacy of your own room with the door closed. IF ALL MEMBERS OF A ROOM OR SUITE ARE UNDER THE LEGAL DRINKING AGE, NO ALCOHOL MAY BE PRESENT IN THAT ROOM AT ANYTIME. Open containers are not permitted at anytime on campus property. This includes hallways, lounges, courtyards, patios, etc.
