Offline mode means, that the HLM is not connected to the PC with JOCAP XL installed on it. In offline mode, data are gathered on the Jostra MC or MMC, and are imported into JOCAP XL after the operation. Online mode means, that the PC with JOCAP XL installed on it is connected to the HLM during the operation. In online mode, all PC’s are connected within a network to one server, or they are being operated as single stand-alone machines. In the latter case data can be consolidated on one machine using the Jostra import and export facilities.
