Kansas Law provides that certain person convicted of sexual offenses or violent crimes must register with the sheriff of the county in which they reside. Requirements as to who must register are based on the year of conviction and/or the number of convictions if prior to 1993. Only information on the crimes of offenders committed after April 14, 1994 are open to public disclosure. Information on the locations of these offenders is available in the Sheriff’s Office or online at www.accesskansas.org/registered-offender/index.html.
