What is OES, and why is it being added to my shopping cart?
The Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) levy is a mandatory fee as dictated by Waste Diversion Act to fund the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Program Plan. This fee is extended to the consumer by the manufacturer, and is required by law. The exact price of the levy depends on the type of hardware being purchased. The correct amount is automatically added to or removed from your cart as applicable products are added or removed.
