OASIS standards for “Online Aerospace Supplier Information System”. The purpose of the OASIS database is to provide independent verification of the status of certification. The International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) issued a letter in May 2003 detailing the roll out of OASIS. AIR5259 requires Certification/Registration Bodies (CRB’s) to submit the results of aerospace audits to the OASIS database. The results of a company being audited to one of the aerospace standards will be posted in that database as required by AIR5259.
