What is NY State MLS and how does it work?
The NY State MLS is a real estate multiple listing service that allows a real estate agent to list properties anywhere in New York. It also allows other member agents to search for properties and co-broke with each other. There is a public search feature and a public profile feature for agents. You must have a New York State Real Estate license to join.
The NY State MLS is a statewide Multiple Listing Service open to all Licensed Real Estate Professionals (Agents, Brokers, Appraisers). The goal of NY State MLS is to provide an additional advertising outlet to feature and sell your listings to any other broker or agent in the state. All listings on the NY State MLS must offer compensation for any co-broke property and adhere to all New York State Laws governing the sale of property by a Licensed Professional. The member’s only side of this site offers “agent full” listing views with commission splits and confidential remarks.
