What is Nursing Home Medicaid Coverage or Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)?
People who enter a Long Term Care Facility (LTCF) or are enrolled in a Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver program licensed and certified by TennCare may be able to have their care in the LTCF or HCBS paid for by TennCare Medicaid funds. These payments are called Medicaid Vendor Payments.
