What Is NTSC Tuning?
NTSC is a form of analog television system which is used on a large scale in Canada, Japan, South Korea, United States etc. NTSC is the short form for NATIONAL TELEVISION SYSTEM(s) COMMITTEE, the U.S. standardization body which has taken up its responsibility. The National Television System Committee was formed in the year 1940 by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), in the United States (US). This commission was formed to sort out conflicts that were arising in-between companies over the induction of a nationwide analog television system in the U.S. In March 1941 the committee issued a notice and set a technical standard which was black and white television. The first ever NTSC color television camera ever invented was RCA TK-40, which was first used for experimental broadcast in 1953.
