What is noted on an inventory report?
A Cyan inventory assessor will take detailed and accurate records of the contents within the property and the condition of them as well as the condition of the property itself including fixtures and fittings such as carpets, curtains, light fittings and cooker. Any marks, chips, or damage is included next to each description, so that the tenant is not responsible for any damage already caused. Utility readings gas and electricity are also included, so that new tenants are not charged for energy that they have not consumed. Cyan assessors also take high resolution photographs of every room, including high value items and any damage. Cyan inventory assessors are trained to be impartial both at the time of making the original inventory and at the check out. Their evidence will be relied upon in the event of a dispute over the deposit at the end of the tenancy and you can be confident that the documentation will have been drawn up correctly and fairly.
