What is not included?
Galapagos flights, Galapagos Entrance Fee (includes the municipal tax, currently $100 US payable in cash to the national park authorities in Baltra), Galapagos Govt. Control ID Card currently at $10 US per person payable beforehand or at airport in Quito or Guayaquil, tips (it is customary to tip the guide, chef and crew) soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and any other extras not specifically mentioned. There is also a $41 US departure tax from Quito and $27 US from Guayaquil on all international flights.

Intrepid can also provide you with good advice as to the specific requirements for your Challenge at an information evening organized prior to departure. OCF will inform you of dates and locations.
You should plan to buy optional but highly recommended trip cancellation insurance. You will need some cash to cover snacks not eaten on board and gratuities at your discretion. We are often asked to be more specific on this, so we recommend about 5% of the cost of your cruise (minimum 100 euros per person). Local transfers to and from the boat are not always included. Check the description of each package for details.
