What is Nodule Acne
Nodular acne or Nodule, is a severe form of acne vulgaris, and is characterized by blocked oil glands that produce inflamed skin and tissue. Nodules form a dense, dome-like lesion, which is red, swollen and generally affects deeper layers of the skin too. Most frequently nodules found on face, shoulders and upper arms. Some peoples also suffer form neck nodules and chest nodules also. Nodules on neck and chest or anywhere can be very painful and can appear for weeks or months, and if not treated completely, may appear again in the same place.
