NFPA 211 is the code set forth by the National Fire Protection Association for the construction of masonry fireplace chimneys and the installation of wood stoves in a masonry fireplace chimney. NFPA 211 contains provisions for chimneys, fireplaces, venting systems and solid fuel–burning appliances, including their installation.
