What is Nextel Online Two-Way Messaging?
Two-Way Messaging enables a text message to be sent from any PC that has access to the Internet and Nextel’s Home Page. Messages can be sent to any Nextel user by addressing the message to their 10-digit Nextel telephone number, typing the message in the message box, attaching specific replies to the message and clicking the send button. From the Nextel Online Messaging Center the sender has three options to receive responses to the message and to confirm the message has been read: Option 1: – Wait to receive a message status at the Web site. Option 2:- Use a claim number to retrieve the message status at a later time from the Web site. Option 3: – Have the message status sent to the sender’s Nextel phone using PTN@messaging.nextel.com or to an email address.
