What is next for the Toronto Teen Survey?
The TTS is now well into its knowledge transfer and exchange (KTE) phase. The aim of the TTS KTE initiatives are to share TTS findings and to build the capacity of key stakeholders to respond more effectively to the sexual and reproductive information and service access needs of diverse youth living in Toronto. Summer 2009 Four youth will be traveling across Toronto meeting with service providers and groups of youth in community agencies and youth serving organizations to share the TTS findings and to distribute the TTS poster. Between June 2009 and July 2010 Using the data from the Survey and from the follow-up qualitative focus groups with youth, eight bulletins focusing on different sub-populations of youth will be produced. Each bulletin will contain synthesized data specific to a community of youth as well as key highlights, context (gleaned from the literature and relevant reports), and recommendations.
