What Is New World liberation front?
The New World Liberation Front was an organization that represented the liberation of black people. They stood to defend the people against the oppression and police brutality imposed on them by the racist and discriminatory practices of those in power. The NWLF operated to my knowledge during the early to late 70’s throughout the SF Bay Area. I (anonymous) was a victim of police brutality at the time as a teenager living in the Hunters Point district. The NWLF issued a stern warning via the local media to rid the neighborhood of a particular bad cop. I was broadcast on the local news stations as one who was threatened by the racist pigs (as then reffered to by many such as the Black Panthers). My fellow brothers and I had no problems with that cop again. The NWLF was a force to be reckoned with….. author unknown!
