PacketShaper certification exams were last updated with the introduction of the major features of Xpress compression and acceleration in PacketWise version 8. Please see our web site for details on how to register for both exams. Anybody who passed the PCE exam since November 2006 has an up to date certification. Certification exams before that date did not cover the Xpress compression and acceleration features, so are obsolete. Those granted the PCE certification before that date should update their certification by taking the current PCE exam.
