Cisco Eos, a hosted, software-as-a-service (SaaS), has been through 12 feature upgrades since last year’s CES. In addition to the software layer, we have converted the Eos hosting environment to Cisco’s Data Center 3.0 architecture and deployed Cisco’s Unified Computing System (UCS) for increased capacity and operational effectiveness. This upgrade has resulted in an approximately 3x increase in compute capacity for 1/2 the hosting space, and 1/3 the power consumption.
