What is New Student Orientation like? Should parents attend?
NSO is designed to be a fun introduction into the University life for new freshmen and transfers. Each part of orientation is designed to help students feel connected and familiar with SAU. Parents are encouraged to attend the first day of orientation as there will be sessions for parents only. Several University offices will also be open for any last minute business matters and questions.
