What is new in OpenBSD 4.3?
The complete list of changes made to OpenBSD 4.2 to create OpenBSD 4.3 can be found on plus43.html, and highlights on the OpenBSD 4.3 Information page, however here are a few changes the OpenBSD team anticipate will require or warrant some special note to people upgrading or installing OpenBSD 4.3 who are familiar with older versions: • libexpat is now part of base43.tgz, not part of xbase43.tgz (as in 4.2), nor a package (4.1 and before) This should simplify life for many users. More details in the 4.3 Upgrade Guide • hoststated(8) is now named relayd(8). More details in the 4.3 Upgrade Guide • New SMP support: OpenBSD/sparc64 and OpenBSD/mvme88k now support multiple processors.
