WHAT IS NEW EVANGELICALISM?
– Pastor Bruce Oyen gives various answers to this question in a feature article in the 3/98 Ohio Bible Fellowship Visitor. “New Evangelicalism is a theology which confesses orthodox Christian doctrine, but which allows ecclesiastical ties with those who do not.” Oyen said he gave examples of new evangelicalism “to make us aware of the fact that it is far more common than we think [because] new evangelicalism, according to the father of the term, Harold J.
