What is Nevada County Reads!?
Nevada County Reads! is modeled after the successful “one community, one book” events that occur in Chicago, Portland and other communities throughout the nation. The purpose is to promote reading. For 2007, Nevada County Reads picked Louis Sachar’s Newbery Award-winning book Holes. Nevada County Reads! Events We hope that this book will instigate much discussion among adults and young people.
