What is neural networks?
Neural network is a new and advanced artificial intelligence technology that mimics the brain’s learning and decision making process. A neural network consists of a number of nodes with “neuron” connections between the nodes. When a training process is being conducted, the neural network learns from the input data and gradually adjusts its neurons to reflect the desired outputs. Like humans, when a neural network ” see” something or “read” something, it will have that in its “mind”. For examples, a handwriting recognition neural network can recognize a person’s hand writings after it reads a number of the samples the person wrote. An expert system is a computer software system that can provide professional advice or solve problems in specific areas. It usually consists of a large knowledge base and self-learning technology such as neural networks. Neural network based expert system is one of the few technologies that has been approved to really work in predicting short-term stock price
