You need an Adaptec 1480A or 2940UW SCSI adapter. Only these adapters will work with 32-bit programs like MaxIm DL because of compatibility issues with the camera. Other adapters such as the 1460 will connect but will fail to download images. You must install both the SCSI drivers and the ASPI drivers. If the camera does not appear as a scanner in the Windows Device Manager, it will not work.
