What is NEDCAF (North East Derbyshire and Chesterfield Arts Forum)?
NEDCAF provides artists and arts organisations in North East Derbyshire and Chesterfield with an opportunity to: • meet other artists and practitioners within the area and share information about the work you do locally, regionally and nationally • advertise future gigs, exhibitions and performances • do some individual and group networking • promote the wide variety of arts and artists of the region • discuss local Arts Development issues and future plans for the Arts in North East Derbyshire and Chesterfield. The first NEDCAF meeting for the area took place at The Winding Wheel, Chesterfield on Tuesday 6th September 2005. It was a great success with over 50 people attending and representing a variety of art forms, arts organisations, clubs, societies and those generally interested in the arts in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire. The second NEDCAF meeting took place on Wednesday 1st February 2006. Again it was well attended with 28 people from many different artistic backgrounds
