It is necessary to ask an operator to activate the GPRS service. This can be done at the Velcom offices upon signing a standard application. Naturally, you need to buy a handset supporting GPRS. And that’s it. Whether to buy additional accessories or not depends on devices you will be using with a GPRS–phone. Probably you will not have to buy anything else, and IrDA–port in the handset and notebook will be enough.
