A citizen calls into the State CrimeStoppers toll free number ( 1-800-422-1494 ) and speaks with a Nebraska State Patrol dispatcher. The citizen caller is assigned a number in order to allow the caller to remain anonymous The Information from the caller is documented on a form. This form is then forwarded to an officer with the Nebraska State Patrol who has been designated as the CrimeStopper coordinator.
