What is Nausea During Pregnancy?
The tendency of vomiting and nausea during pregnancy is a very common. It is commonly referred to as morning sickness. It is perfectly normal to feel nauseous right from the first week of your term. The main reason behind this is the sudden increase in the hormones level. Because of the increased production of the hormones, a lot of changes take place in your body, which eventually develops the tendency of queasiness. Causes The actual causes of morning sickness are still not known. Besides hormonal changes, an imbalance in blood sugar may also be a reason for this. Many doctors and midwives also believe that this tendency is more common among those women who are carrying twins or triplets. However, it has not yet been proved. Another most widely accepted theory is that the buildup of human chorionic gonadotopin (HCG) may also cause nausea during pregnancy. HCG is produced when the fertilized eggs are implanted into the uterus. The level of HCG keeps increasing until about the twelfth
