NATS takes its environmental responsibilities seriously and is a founder member of Sustainable Aviation This is a unique cross-industry initiative to align airports, airlines, manufacturers and air traffic control behind commitments to explore new technologies and procedures to minimise the environmental impact of our business. Earlier this year, we were the first air navigation service provider to declare an environmental target, aiming to cut the emissions of aircraft under our control by, on average, 10 per cent per flight by 2020 against a 2006 baseline.
