What is NATRECOR®?
NATRECOR® is a recombinant form of human B-type natriuretic peptide (hBNP), a substance that is normally produced by the heart. Available by prescription only, NATRECOR® is administered directly into the bloodstream (intravenously – IV) of patients who experience acutely decompensated heart failure with shortness of breath when they are at rest or performing minimal activity (like talking, eating or bathing).
