What is NATA doing to assist our members who were impacted by Hurricane Katrina?

0

NATA is working to make sure we open the lines of communication between those who were impacted by the hurricane and those who wish to help. Athletic trainers are caring people who want to help…and the best thing NATA can do is make the connection. NATA has updated the membership on our activities via the Eblast newsletter and the Web site (www.nata.org) and will continue to do so. Through these updates, we are connecting NATA members with organizations who can accept financial and volunteer contributions. At this time we recommend visiting the Web site for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (www.fema.gov) for a list of organizations accepting contributions. “Katrina Needs & News” is an online message board that is available on the NATA Web site (www.nata.org). We encourage members to use this board to let NATA members know how they’re doing, what they need or what they have to offer.
