What is NAL (Novell Applications Launcher)?

0

New machines and refurbished old machines have a different way in which applications are delivered. The machines come with a basic standard image, which includes Sophos, Office 2003, Groupwise etc… but the additional software that our department uses will be delivered through Novell Application Launcher (otherwise known as NAL). NAL will actually install the software you wan’t to use so once the software is installed on a machine there will be no need to run the NAL object again. So basically when logging on to a machine check if it has the software you want to use then if it has, use it otherwise run NAL and install it on the machine.
