What is NAATI accreditation?

0

The National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) is the Australian authority responsible for awarding professional qualifications for these professions. There are several levels of NAATI accreditation. The minimum required for most types of work are the “Translator” and “Interpreter” accreditations, also referred to as “professional accreditations”. The term “level 3 accreditation” is an outdated term. Our translators fulfil all government requirements. NAATI accreditation is not available in all languages. However NAATI may still formally recognise the skills of practitioners who have worked in translating and interpreting in languages of low demand.
