What is MyTravel?
MyTravel is the upcoming travel and entertainment expense reporting system for UC Davis. It will replace the current paper-reliant process with an online system. MyTravel will streamline approvals, and capture receipts electronically, eliminating much of the paper shuffling and lost receipts that plague our current system. Why MyTravel? In 2003-2004, Information and Educational Technology (IET) conducted a review on campus to identify the information technology priorities for the campus. They received input from deans, vice-chancellors, faculty, and various campus focus groups. The travel and entertainment reporting process ranked third on the resulting priority list.
