What is Myers Motors good news?
The good news is that you have found the site of the only company producing and delivering affordable highway speed all-electric vehicles in the US today. Myers Motors actually has vehicles, made in the US, that it has sold and that are in the hands of real people (see the “I love my NmG” section). The good news is that we have now upgraded our battery system, with help from faculty and students at the University of Akron in developing a matching battery management system, to a lithium powered battery system that doubles our vehicle’s practical range to 50 miles, that increases vehicle efficiency through a weight reduction of 240 pounds, and multiplies the expected battery life expectancy about 5X over the previous battery system used. All placed in our custom-made-to-order NmG. The other good news is that Myers Motors is extending its range of vehicle models to include its two-passenger NmG2, due out the summer of ’09.
