It is the number that is dialed when you press and hold “1” on the keypad of your Fido, to retrieve your voice messages. The number is pre-programmed on your Fido and should not be changed unless it is necessary. Sometimes, this number will appear as a long distance number; however, there is NO long distance charges associated with retrieving your voice messages in your local calling area. On some phones the number will simply be displayed as “Calling Voicemail”.
