What is my Total CPE for my first year of licensure if I only complete the 2 SSEthics required?
For your first year of licensure you are granted a total of 50 CPE credits of which X amount will be in Ethics CPE (based upon what you have submitted on your online CPE report). When the maximum of 50 CPE credits are reported in one year, the next year minimum requirement is 30 CPE credits; but, the licensee may report anywhere between their minimum requirement and the maximum of 50 in any year. Licensees must report at least what their minimum requirement is each year. The Ethics requirement is a component of the CPE requirement, not in addition to it. The CPE requirement is 80 or more CPE credits of which 4 must be in Ethics in any rolling two year period.
